We all were in assumption that 21 days lockdown was an ultimate solution to get through this COVID19. Apparently, it turned out to be worse, few people have to understand the situation here, with increasing cases and creating COVID hotpots where it's making healthy people's life arduous to live. We all are in this, together. I can understand everybody has to stay at home during this crucial period, but are we safe completely in all ways? 3 weeks of lockdown had passed away in chilling and hoping for good but now it's not the same.

Just imagine our body is used to doing certain amount of work that burns calories and helps us maintain our body size and weight with the food we consume. But now, since the sudden change in routine that we are not going anywhere and no physical activities apart from working from home, walk from one room to another, sleep or just lay down the whole day, is not helping us burn those calories we intake. Also, most of us staying at home eat extra than often we do, not because we are hungry but because we are bored. So, when you are hungry first drink water if you don't feel hunger after that, good for you, it's just your food cravings.

So, don't forget to take care of your health while staying at home and helping the nation to beat COVID-19. Here are few things for self care during lockdown:

  1. Workout at-least for 15 min : This helps your body to stretch and burn some calories. Improve your mental health. Helps you control your weight. May also inculcate the sense of discipline and self care. Most importantly reduces the risk of heart attacks. You can follow various youtubers for best workout routine, my favorite youtuber is, just click on link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tamUJ23i33k

  2. Get some Sunlight : Staying all day inside home may not give you the benefits of sunlight. Sunlight, when hits your skin, helps produce vitamin D which helps regulate calcium that's require to keep your bone and teeth healthy.

  3. Eat Healthy : What you eat in a day also matters because you are staying at home all day and that doesn't burn much calories compared to your working days. So the amount of calories intake should be taken care. Usually an average human requires 2000 to 2500 kCal/day if active. Since, we stay at home reduce 300 -400 calories per day in your diet. Avoid sugar and oily food, so that it doesn't increase your overall fat.

Not only during lockdown, if you follow such lifestyle it will ultimately bring a positive outcome in your life until then, stay healthy, stay safe!
