The 30,000 MW renewable energy park at Kutch, Gujarat is billed as the largest of its kind in the world. It will also play a major role in fulfilling Prime Minister Modi's vision of generating 450 GW power by the year 2030. Spread over 72, 600 ha of land, the first will be a 49,600-hectare hybrid park zone, accommodating wind and solar power plants of 24,800 MW capacity; and second will be an exclusive wind power zone spread over 23,000 hectares.
Kamuthi Solar Power Project by Adani Power, occupies 2500 acres and can supply energy for about 150000 homes in Tamil Nadu. And Diu is the first city in India to completely run on solar energy during the day. The power comes from solar park spread over 0.2sq km and rooftop panels on 112 government establishments.
Do you know? An investment of Rs 1 lakh in Adani Green Energy stock on June 10 in 2019 would have grown to Rs 7.66 lakh on June 10, 2020.
Also automobile giants like Ashok Leyland, Tata EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, Mahindra Electric, etc have shown their potential and interest toward renewable energy sources. But not to forget the emerging startups with marvelous ideas in this sector, companies like Ather energy, Ola electric mobility, SmartE, Yulu bikes, etc have exhibited their commendable works recently.

Not to forget those stall standing wind mills, one of our childhood fascinating structures, which also played an amazing role in bringing a change in the global warming. Companies like Suzlon Energy Limited, Inox Wind Ltd, Orient green power ltd, etc have been showing their efforts in relevant places to inculcate the green energy for bright future.
Thus as a responsible human one should think how can he contribute in climate change. We all know the global warming is increasing with each carbon footprint we leave. I am not asking you to make an invention or discover an alternative source, you are just requested to see where you invest your money. All those companies are definitely going to pioneer in their sector and I hope you won't regret then for not investing now. Note: I am not recommending the above mentioned companies in particular rather I just used them for example. You are responsible for choosing the company you invest. All I want you to understand investing in such companies means supporting them for what they are doing and showing that we all need a shift in energy resources for a better planet.
If you are not a person who does investing in markets then you can contribute by at least switching to alternative energy resources. Start small, if you are a person who uses a 2 wheeler in the city limits then switch to electric 2 wheeler. People who are interested in cars can buy the hybrid or completely electric cars. If you are not interested in vehicles you can try other alternative resources that can switch your daily consumption of non renewable resources. For example, roof top solar power generation(Soon I will write a complete blog post on this), solar water heater, using waste to generate biogas, compost pit for manure, etc.
