Traditional ways to get rid of stretch marks

Stretch marks form in the same way as the barks of a tree trunk. It appears when your muscle stretches and your skin has to stretch beyond its limit which leads to tear and stretch. But according to me, it's a sign of progress. Don't worry if you are embarrassed to go sleeveless or shirtless(men) due to those stretch marks. Firstly the treatment starts with the right mind set. You need to start embracing the change in a positive way. Thanks to Ayurveda, our ancestors had founded various remedies to this small issue(yet huge impact). Without any delay let's get into the top 3 remedies.

Potatoes

Chop the fresh potato into slices and rub the slices against your stretch marks or you can take the juice out of the potato and apply it over the stretch marks. Let it dry for 30 minutes and wash off with cold water. Do it regularly at least once every two days to get effective results.

The science behind this: Potatoes contain starch and enzymes that lighten the skin colour. This is nothing but bleaching skin. This bleaching property of potatoes also helps to remove dark circles. Thus this results in effectively removing the stretch marks and bringing back that smooth and shining healthy skin.
